DWP Payment Rates to Increase
UK benefit recipients are set to receive a 10.1% increase in payments from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) in April. This includes State Pension, disability, and most working age benefits.
The benefit cap will also rise, along with the cost of living payment of £301 to eligible households. Universal Credit payment rates will also see an increase, including additional elements such as child amounts and carer amounts.
Non-dependants’ housing cost contributions and work allowances will also be adjusted.
