В Великобритании финансовый год заканчивается 5 апреля и после этой даты налоговую декларацию обязан предоставить: человек работающий как самозанятое лицо; работающий в партнерстве; директор компании; человек, получающий доход от своей собственности; человек получающий налогооблагаемые доходы от доверительной собственности, полученной в подарок или доходы от имущества умершего; лица, получающие налогооблагаемые доходы из-за заграницы. В соответствии с законом декларирование налогов является обязательным для каждого вышеперечисленного гражданина, а также все эти лица должны хранить доказательствa своих доходов и расходов, по крайней мере 5 лет и 10 месяцев после окончания налогового года, с которым они связаны. Выше упомянутые доказательства очень важны для правильного декларирования доходов.
